• Alternet(s) - device used to visually alter what one is seeing, and block any auditory stimulus coming from within the boundary of connected devices.
• Ammocar - ammonia carbonate, or smelling salts. Used to help people regain consciousness.

• BiSol - binary star system/suns for Nephelus
• Chametek - A play on chamaeleonidae technology
• Charges - explosives
• Colossal artillery vehicle (Colossal/CAV) - Larger than a MAV, serves well as a transport vehicle during ground sieges and conflict.
• Coolant cream - icy hot
• E-console/entertainment console - TV
• Feather artillery vehicle (FAV) - smallest artillery vehicle, more like a motorcycle, but maintains assault capabilities. Think Tron bike, but also not.
• Hex/hex - standard currency on The Surface.
• IRM's - Intel recovery missions
• Lord of the Tortured Eternity - Satan or ruler of Hell
• Lumen storm - intense heat lightning storm. Brutal during the fourth quarter and very dangerous.
• Maker - equivalent to God
• Midclass artillery vehicle (MAV) - midsize artillery vehicle, used most often for IRMs. Most similar to a Star Wars HAV, but 6 wheels instead of 10, the wheels are spheres that can rotate in any direction, and the cabin is different. A MAV can also, for shorter periods of time and at slightly slower speeds, hover above the ground, like all other surface vehicles in the series.
• Naviband - advanced mobile technology; think combination of a smart phone, smart watch, and some spy tech, but it wraps 360 around half the forearm. Capable of much more than what the cadets were using it for if it's in the right hands.
• Occacip - Picasso backwards lol
• OPTank - semi-automated surgical machine. Has surgery presets, but a preset can also be created by recording the steps of a procedure. Access site: not necessarily a singular region. The exterior cover of an OPTank acts more like a membrane. If a surgeon needs to step-in, or perform an entire operation, they can shift and use the midbay to open up the membrane in order to perform work on the patient. Midbay: acts as an access site key, and signals the membrane of an OPTank to open to allow a surgeon access. The midbay doubles functionally as a sterilization component. As a surgeon pulls their arms/hands free of the access site, the midbay uses focused UV light as a preliminary means to disinfect gloves and surgical utensils. It is 10cm thick and directly adheres to the OPTank's membrane. Prometheus/Bacta tank-esque.
• Paracetamol - acetaminophen/ibuprofen
• Pits - equivalent to Hell
• PRJT orb - pretty much a floating video camera that doesn't require someone to hold it. It also casts the image out like a hologram or similar to a TV in any size; 2D or 3D.
• Proj's/projections - tiny projectors that project an image or video sequence. Whatever is the intended visual and auditory stimulus for the viewer; 2D or 3D.
• Pyrosabre - a heated samurai sword. Very rare. Heating element added just before the Apex.
• Search console/s-console - computer
• Stabilizing cap - small metal disc placed over a weakened joint or muscle that neutralizes one's own use of their neurons/ability to stimulate muscles, instead, doing it for the wearer in order to promote healing, but curb the inconvenience of "sitting out". Good temporary solution during field emergencies in case an operative is injured.
• Tortured Eternity - another equivalent to Hell.
• Trover - transport hover (semi truck except it hovers).
• Windshield - puck-like disc in Four Quarters Clothing Co. that has heat and blocks wind, but Li tells Nora to be careful because it also blocks sound.
• Xai/xai - standard currency for Ethers
